Question Cable TV Snowey! (Solved)

We r new to the site and new to Our Rockwood Windjammer! This is our 3rd adventure since we bought her in September! We live in central NC and have been to Jordan Lake , Carolina Beach , and are now in the beautiful NC mountains in Boone,NC! We are learning a lot each trip and becoming more and more comfortable TT owners!
One issue we can't solve that was never discussed at dealership is snowy cable TV. Every where we go....same problem.
This time we took our bedroom TV outside and hooked it straight to cable line...and guess what Clear Cable!
We have a 2012 model with the Genesis system and Toshiba TV . ( I think the system is too smart for me). Ha
I saw a thread where someone else had this problem but the solution doesn't make sense on the system we have. Anybody out there that could walk us thru it ? It's World Series time...lol

I might add the first weekend a DVD wouldn't play video stream. Only audio...took back to dealer ( they discovered it was never even hooked up). Now this.....

Not giving up!

We had a bad connection at the antenna booster, which, when I repaired and tightened ALL of the connections, corrected the fuzziness that we had... I wound up checking all of the connections, and re-doing a couple of them because of bad crimps.

Thanks Fire Instructor. But I don't even know where the antenna booster connection would be? Behind wall mounted TV maybe?

Look for a plate with game/video connections, and a multi-position switch for switching sound/video sources. There should also be a small black push-button and an LED to let you know it's "on".

If you find the antenna booster and it's on...turn it off. Use it only for the antenna. That may help the snow.

Welcome to the forum by the way!

If it is like our Windjammer it is in the entertainment center, below the TV and behind a cabinet door.

Bob213 is right on, off for CATV and on for antenna.

If you still have a problem, "Fire Instructor's" info on checking ALL your connections is the next step.

We were just as excited when we found ours but not as excited as when we discovered the secret compartment!

another example of a poor Dealer PDI.
that's something that every RV tech should be showing customers when they go through the PDI.
got to wonder why your tech left that out.
