Camera and dash monitor broke: 2014 Coachmen Pursuit
my parents just purchased a brand new 2014 Coachmen Pursuit 33BHP.
It has the three camera system (sides and rear) that connect to a color dash monitor.
Upon inspection at the dealer the monitor worked (blue screen) but there was no video showing up. A technician came to the RV and disconnected the video box under the dash from power for 30 seconds. After this is worked fine.
My father drove it home and thought nothing more of it.
On the first outing the monitor did not work again. This time the screen is black. The power light on the LED screen blinks blue/red rapidly.
We took a portable DVD player that has video IN capability and connected this to the video OUT on the video box under the dash (the instructions say this is a DVR feature that can record video from the unit) so we expected to see if the screen in the dash is dead and the cameras still working.
We got nothing.
So, maybe it is two issues - monitor in dash is broke + the video box is flaky and not sending a signal.
Anyone have issues like this? we are trying to get it fixed under warrenty without driving 200+ miles back to the dealer.
