Cannot get to the back of my TV

We just came home with a 2015 Rockwood 2604. The TV is mounted on the wall in the living room, other side is the walk thru bath.
I need to access the back of the TV and just cannot figure out how to move it front. I slid my phone at the bottom and took some pictures. Can anyone help me? I called the dealer and they said to get to the back of the TV it would involve removing cabinetry. I just cannot believe that.

It appears to be on a mount. Our's I can hold on the sides and pull forward which allows it to tilt and swivel. The installer may have tighten the bolts on yours to keep it firmly in place. I would try and 'gently' pull it forward.

Our pdi tech mentioned that they have to be pulled firmly out. He suggested pulling from the top and bottom of the tv since it's closer to the mount instead of the sides. Good luck!

This works on mine.

What is holding the TV so firmly to the mounting? Service at the dealership states it cannot be pulled out from the wall. I just don't see how that can be. How would you re-place it if it broke, take the camper apart.
Anyone know a number I could call at Forest River/Rockwood? Do they have a tech support?

Thanks!

They will tell you the same thing...pull hard the rubber clamps that hold it is very stiff and the swivel bolts are most likely too tight also.

Can you post a pic from the side? From the top views, it sure looks like it is supposed to swivel out.
From the pics you posted, even looks like it has the rubber stop to keep it from going back to far.

The top picture shows the plastic "clamp" that holds the tv while moving. It is a plastic half circle that the arm locks in to.

These pics are from the bottom. I am not at the camper today, but will be tomorrow. I am not sure if I can get the phone behind the TV anywhere else but the bottom, but I will try.

Is the plastic clamp on the right side of the top picture? I will be reaching around back there blindly.

You don't have to do anything to it to release it other than pull. It should be directly behind the center on the tv.

No, the clamp is on the left side, its underneath the nut and bolt. If you look at your last picture, the clamp is at the very far left, only some of it is in view. The clamp snaps to the plastic collar thats around the thru bolt. Heres a couple of pics of ours....

Now I see the clamp, it is almost in the center of your top picture. Thanks for all the help. BTW, we pull our camper with a 2013 GMC Sierra also.

shows you that you can't rely on info from the dealer/service area.

I just wanted to thank everyone that helped me with this. I pulled hard holding on to the top and bottom of the TV and it snapped loose. I could get at the back of the TV and tightened the RCACables so I can not use my DVD player in this rainy July 4th. Thanks!

Don't you love getting info directly from people with the exact same issue, and with pictures! Love this forum.

YES. Everyone has been great, I do find that is the norm among people that camp.
