Ceiling Fan

I have a Wildwood 40 ft park model. It came with a ceiling fan installed. The fan works fine, meaning it runs on all three speeds both forward and reverse, however, it blows the same amount of air no matter what direction or speed it's set on. Is there something I don't understand about how to operate this fan or is it just for decoration? Any thoughts?

The 3 speeds on ours is controlled by the pull chain. There should be 4 positions, off, hi, medium, low. Your switch that the pull chain connects to might be broken. Replacement can be found at Home Depot/Lowes in the ceiling fan accessory area.

Thanks for the reply but the switch is not the problem. The fan works on all three speeds both forward and reverse. The problem is it does not produce any air.

Need more tilt on the blades, might be able to put more twist in the metal blade brackets.
