Clicking noise in heat pump.

I have a 2011 Forester with a Dometic 15000 btu Duo-Therm heat pump. The cooling side works fine; but, when the thermostat calls for heat, the unit clicks several times (10 or more times) before heat pump starts. At this point the heater runs well. Does anyone know what is causing the clicking noise? Thanks Bob

I have the same problem. Did you get your problem resolved?

Yes, my problem was in the control box. This is located in the ceiling unit (heat pump). Remove the inside cover and you will see the small control box--replace it. It may be under warranty. Let me know how this works for you.
