Concertone for 2007 Sierra

Just purchased a 2007 Sierra and previous owner said the Concertone System has "never worked". Have no manuals for it. Press power button and it will not even turn on. Does it have an external fuse I can check? How do you remove the unit? Since it wont even turn on, my instinct tells me it is probably something very simple, but I dont even know where to start.

If you start reading the post about concertone you will realize that the units eather work or not it seems there is no middle of the road. To remove, you will have to take the face plate ring off. It just snapps on. You will then see the screws that hold it in place. There may or may not be a in line fuse. Concertone has there own web site for a manual or try calling FR. I think once you read the post you will start looking for a different unit.

Once you check the fuse, you should also check all the wiring as installation issues have also proven to be an issue. The wiring diagram should be a label on the back of the unit.

If you still have an issue after that please provide a model number so we can help more specifically.

Good luck!
