Concertone Monitor

We have a Rockwood 8317SS with the Concertone ZX500 unit. This is our second unit and the first was replaced under warranty by Forest River. We are also on our second monitor (Flat panel TV).

The ZX500 tuner is currently working fine but my monitor quit working and fried. Actually fried as smoke was coming from the monitor.

Anyway, Forest River wants $800 to replace the monitor and I will not be spending that much. I have researched the web and found a few FPD (around $200-$300) with the S-video connection and 120VAC. Can't locate another 12V unit. That is not a big deal as I can just plug into my AC outlet below the display.

My questions are these:
Has anyone found a reasonably priced 12 volt monitor display?
Is the Concertone ZX500 unit analog or digital?

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Jerry

When looking for a monitor you don't have to look for just 12v models. A lot of tv's use a cube power supply that has a 12vdc output. All you need is a power cord adaptor from radioshack and it'll work fine. You can also use an inverter to power a 120v tv.
