We have the same issue on our 2012 V-Lite 30WRKSS. Any further progress/findings on this one?

Found these and am thinking of trying a couple this fall.

The "rep" has not responded because we have discussed this before and as Lou has mentioned the volumes are not independently adjustable so the self contained room may be loud while the outside may not be. The outside by its very size is much harder to fill with sound from two 3" speakers. The outside system as it is configured is not meant to rock your world, but to provide background music.

There is no fix as there is no problem.

If you believe your system is malfunctioning, you should see your dealer for warranty service.

If you want loud outside you will need to add bigger speakers and amplification. Your system does have low level outputs for just such a purpose as feeding an amplifier.

I totally forgot about the extra set of line level outputs and I have a small stereo amp just sitting around gathering dust!

Head slap!

I have to agree, if you don't want to listen to the outside speakers, it's not a problem.

BUT, if you do want to listen to the outside speakers without driving the people inside deaf, there is no help from Concertone forthcoming to rectify the design flaw.

One of my problems with the Concertone is that they do not have any earphone outputs on the critter.

The rest of my beef has to with the way Puma wired the trailer. Puma did not bring the video/audio outputs across the trailer (Concertone on curbside, TV & distribution panel on driver's side). I cannot figure out how to bring audio outputs to the bedroom TVs as they only pulled the coax line to the bedroom.

There are too many turns or Puma secured the coax in the ceiling which means you cannot pull a fish through to get lines to the bedroom.

I am also not sure if the Concertone has the necessary audio outputs anyway (model 700). If someone knows that would be a help.

The plus side is that the Concertone will play about any disk but Blu-Ray and my Longest Day DVD. It is also DC which is pretty good too.

Am I the only RV owner that has not had a problem with Concertone? I had my Flagstaff 5th wheel going on 3 yrs and so far so good, works great for me, maybe I'm just lucky?

Don't get me started with an "I Love My Concertone" Thread.
You know what happened the last time I did that!

For the record I love my Concertone and the support from Bob Fields has been WAY beyond expectations for a Company Rep.

You are one of the rare ones Herk, I, on the other hand have had absolutely no help from Bob other than talk, the dealer did replace one unit on the 08 Flagstaff which lasted about 10 months. When they work, everything is fine, but they (Concertone) will not address the volume problem with the outside speakers. From Bob's own words, "it's not a problem". The least they could do is furnish a list of parts and instructions it would take to rectify the problem, but that would be admitting there is a problem.

Bottom line, if there were a list of 10 suppliers of the system all for the same price, Concertone would be #15 on my list based on my experiences with them.
End of rant.

Knock on wood, this one is working other than the outside speaker volume problem.
