Concertone ZX700

I just got in my 2012 8286WS and took it out for its maiden voyage this past weekend. While the kids were watching movies and I was switching back to AV2 for the regular TV audio to play through it, the unit would display FLASH when trying to select the different output mode. When it displays FLASH it would lock the unit up and when it finally went away it would always revert back to FM radio station. I was getting quite frustrated with it. Any ideas or similar problems.

Mine stopped working all together...got it replaced under warranty. Seems to be a common issue - search Concertone and you'll come up with all kinds of results.

Congrats on the new rig and happy camping!

Sorry for the frustration with you unit.

Please try resetting it by removing the fuse behind the unit for one minute. The radio has a processor (like a computer) and maybe its needs a reboot. You remove the radio by removing the trim ring (look at the bottom edge and you will see two small holes). Use a flat blade screw driver or strong butter knife to stick in there and pry off carefully and then removing the screws that hold it in. Now it wll come right out.

While you are in there, double check the wiring. You could have a bad ground ground or power connection...

Obviously if you unit continues to have an issue, have your selling dealer check it out.

Good luck and please let me know how it goes. My phone number is also below...

When mine acts up, I've typically corrected it by replacing the batteries on the remote! For some reason, mine goes haywire when the remote is underpowered, and I try to use it.
