I didn't think of checking to see that the radio antenna was grounded...will look into that. I do want to note that I installed a powered-FM booster and also a number of RF filters, i.e., "chokes," at key points. The booster and chokes made a noticeable difference. (Also added chokes to all the relevant television cables.) My rig spends most of its time deep in a "holler" high in the North Carolina mountains so I don't expect much. Even on my automotive radios I don't get much until I get a little closer to civilization.

Picked up my new Windjammer on Saturday. Same problem everyone else has encountered. I also changed the video settings on both the player and TV to basically the same settings with (as mentioned) a little success at diminishing the jumping. Still there just almost tolerable.

I just spent some time with both the ZX700 book and the Toshiba book and both have the option of "P-SCAN YPBPR" but the cables are hooked to the composit in. Dies the ZX700 really have the P-Scan output, and if yes has, anyone tried that?

My camper is not at the house so it will be a week before I can test it.

I plan on reporting my problem to the dealer just to make sure they know this is still a problem.

Also is there a way to dim the bright blue lights?

Nope. Composite video out only. It has the options on the OSD, but that doesn't mean the unit is capable. Maybe Bob F can shed some light on that.

There's enough wires back there though that you would think there should be a couple different "outs"!

But it's all composite. Not so bad once they work out the kinks, you can use the two extra composite outs to run video to the bedroom and an outside plug if you wanted too...

As far as I know, the lights are what they are.

I've thought about when my trailer comes out of warranty. I'd like to crack open the concertone case and see if the board has the headers for any other video outs. You could also reduce the LED output with a few resistors at the same time.

But, of course, say good by to any warranty you may have on it now.....

Bob,
Any updates on the "solution"?

Spoke with Bob Fields on the phone yesterday. The "solution" is still masked in a disguise of words. He told me the "solution" is something that plugs into the back of the TV and requires 12vdc with a ground. He said they are in stock but waiting on FR to say what to do with them.

Okey dokey.

There a bit of progress at least.

It's starting to sound like something that's familiar to me.....

Anyways, the real question now (for FR or Concertone or Bob) is when is my dealer going to be able to get one in for me?
