Concertone ZX75

My Concertone ZX75 (radio/cd/etc.) has pretty well died. I'd like to replace it. When I looked at the Concertone website, it appears that the unit is no longer sold. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement? I did see that Jensen offers a connection kit for replacement wiring if I buy a Jensen, but Jensen does not have a radio that is the same size.

It looks like the ZX-85 is the same unit as the Genesis 2.0. If it is the same unit, I had to enlarge the mounting hole when I replaced my ZX-75 with the Genesis 2.0. Just a heads up. It wasn't a big deal making the hole a little bigger though.

The ZX85 / GT2 is a plug & play replacement for the ZX75 EXCEPT you will need to make the mounting hole 1/2" taller and ensure you have 5" of depth.

This is due to changing the DVD loader from a vertical door to a "slot" loader.

Upgrading to a ZX85 also gets you BLUETOOTH streaming audio (and hands-free calling)!

Any issues with the ZX85? My ZX75 in my used Roo partially works. The DVD is down and the remote doesn't appear to function. I am tossed between this and the Jensen.

There is a seriously bad design in the mounting of the Concertone ZX75 in our Forest River V-Cross. The heat vent for the ZX75 is covered by the 3/4 inch cabinet frame. I discovered this when I removed the unit from the wall because it didn't power on after verifying that the fuse in the fuse box was good. The in-line fuse was good as well and I tested the wiring and it was good. Looked at the Concertone site and was disappointed they don’t have a blue-ray player that is compatible with the ZX75 wiring. They did go to blue-tooth which is a good idea. What were they thinking when they placed the device in a slot without any external ventilation and only ¼ of the heat vent of the device unobstructed? Makes sense retrospectively why the discs were so hot when removed after watching a movie.
