As long as you don't count calling his Rockwood trailer a Rockford.........twice
Easy to fix. Just go to the bottom of your post and click on Edit. Change the Rockford to Rockwood and hit "save".

This has come up B4 but I'm too lazy to search for it.....
Someone else called the factory and they were told something like this.....
Turn off the unit. Power is still connected but the unit is off, ie it has a dim power
button.
If you look "closely" at the screen you will see the word alarm on there somewhere
very dim.
Push the "sleep button" and the word "alarm" should disappear completely.
I don't know if this sleep button is on the remote or on the face of the unit.
Good luck!
Let us know if this works for you.

There is no dim "alarm" on the display and mine continues to go off at the same time every day regardless of what buttons I push. Anyone else have a better solution to the problem with the alarm before I start pounding on the buttons with a hammer.

I have the same problem and I just make sure that I remember to turn all the speakers off after every use. The alarm still goes off, but it can not be heard.

Seems to me that if the system has an alarm there ought to be a setting for the same buried somewhere in the menu.

It sounds like they've loaded the wrong software (alarm or sleep timer) into
some units with different hardware (remote without sleep/alarm button
and or LCD display without sleep/alarm wording).
In other words it's a total screw up and the factory should have jumped up
to replace those units without question.
Problem is, the odds of getting a good unit as a replacement don't seem
very good ;-((

lol, that's exactly why I just turn off the speakers after every use. I figure if that's the only problem I have....then I'm one of the lucky ones.....lol

Yep, I have the same problem. I use the speaker off trick too! It does get me once in a while though when I forget to turn off the speakers, problem is, its usually about 3am. Its really not a user friendly quality unit.

Found the answer
Hi All,
I was told that with the unit powered off just press the XBASS button and the caption beep on appears. This toggles the alarm on and off.

True but the alarm is still going off. You just can't hear it.

Yes, the solution is here somewhere, but the answer is to remove power to the radio "completely" and then restore power.
Remove the fuse to the radio to do this.
This will disable the alarm.
Then NEVER use the alarm again.
It is a bug in the radio's programming and there is no "fix" according to the old post.
