I admit I am a blonde, but how do I share the Internet connection from the IPhone?

Lol. I thought that would be funny. I work for AT&T and deal with Apple, Samsung, LG, Blackberry, and HTC all of the time.
I do the software installs for demo content on the apple devices in retail also.

Yes, Bluetooth will work for playing audio from iPhone and iPad on those units that support that, and with some units even have hands free phone conversations via the stereo and speaker - loved that aspect of the Genesis I had.

But you can't use Bluetooth to stream Netflix (unless I'm just wrong). I figured being able to maximize an existing Apple product with a other product which work seamlessly together along with iTunes might be a good idea, which works well for me. If you already have an Apple TV at home, you can take it with you in the RV. Or buy it for $99 and use in both. Yeah, it doesn't have any games and not much in the way of apps yet, though the newest version coming in the fall might.

Yup use 2 apple tv. One on the main tv one on bedroom. Both hooked up via HDMI cables. Then to watch from phone or pad just swipe and hit air share...bam up on big screen with audio.

When you watch Apple TV and watch HULU/NETFLIX does that count against your data usage? We'd like to do the same but don't have an unlimited data plan.

Yep. It does since they are streamed from the Internet. Anything that you store on the iPad itself doesn't cost anything. We ripped our entire movie collection to take on the road with us for just that reason (my data plan gets used up by my full-time work).
