Dish Network

It seems that dish network cannot get local channels if 150 miles from zip you gave them in activation. They say use over air antenna. I've been camping twice and can't get a single channel from the antenna. Any suggestions?

You probably need to go to the setup and put in the zip code you are in. The setup will give new azimuth info for the area you are in. You will get the local channels for the new azimuth. I've never had to change cause we don't stray too far from home.

Just call Dish and tell them you are traveling and to please change your service address to where you are. This will also change your local channels at home so be aware of that if you have a DVR setup at home.

Been changing "SERVICE ADDRESS" for 3 years now, sometimes takes a second call, but have always been able to get locals for where we are at.
