Cool Do Outdoor Speakers and Water Mix?

So, I was wondering about the outdoor speakers my trailer came with.

I was washing her for the first time this past weekend and couldn't avoid water hitting it. I did my best not to aim directly into them.

Can I assume it's gotta be water safe or should I cover it with plastic and tape in the future to avoid hitting it and ruining it?

Thanks!

I don't spray water directly on them forcing water to go up into the speaker, but I don't cover them when washing nor do I worry about rain and mine are just fine. I've never actually taken the speaker out to see, but I will assume they are actual weather resistant speakers.

They should be MARINE speakers so if your not sure you could replace them.
BassPro, West , Overtons and others all have Marine Speakers
