Do you leave your TV in the PAW mount or take it down?

Are TV is held in place by a black plastic "PAW International" mount.

DO you leave your TV in the mount while towing or do you take it down and store it? Just curious to see if it is left up will it survive. Thanks.

I don't think I would leave a TV outside while I tow

We've left ours up for short trips...so far no issues.

Mine has been up inside the whole time. we have taken 5 trips of 100 miles or less since buying the TV, no problems. I did however just check the screws and one was very loose. General maintenance, check the screws every so often.

I have that kind of mount in the bedroom of our Windjammer and it has been to Fl. and back no problems at all. And yes we hit some good bumps both ways!

I accidentally left our TV in the hinged bracket mount in our bedroom...loosened the screws near the hinge. I have a strap to keep my main TV stabilized...no issues with that one.

The fiver shakes up and down when travelling and the TV, even though lightweight, will eventually put strain on the screws holding the mount. It is a 2 second operation to take the TV off the mount and I put in flat in the middle of the bed. When I stop for the night, up it goes in no time flat. This way I don't have to worry about it pulling the screws out of the wall and the TV falling to the floor. I would rather be safe than sorry. My two cents worth.
