It may say so on the face plate of the stereo.

Or you will find a jack that goes to nothing.

Yeah What Ford Said - the form factor looks like a typical SATCOM antenna. So it could be Sirius / XM radio or a GPS antenna.

Radio Antenna

You didnt mention if this is a used TT or brand new. If used it could be that previous owner had an independant XM radio that "piggy backed" through standard radio that is in your TT.

If and when I sale my current TH the next owner will have this same question because I have the same antenna on my roof and my XM radio is piggy backed through the TT radio. I am also able to take this same radio out and put it on the Harley or anything else that has an XM cradle that will fit.

You may look around and find that the other end has a small pink, or other odd colored spade type fitting. This will be way smaller than you imagine if you have never seen one before.

Good Luck

That antenna goes to my SkyFi3 XM receiver.

The SkyFi3 dock is the smaller black unit to the upper left of my DW in this photo.

If there is an unexplained hole in the wall or a plate with no radio in it; the former owner kept it for car use (as we also "dual purposed" it before we got her new car).

Ok its explained guess in my case this is a dead issue now, have had xm radio in my truck (came in it) and I've never used it. Thanks all for answering this question.
