Domestic thermostat not turning on with temp

I have my thermostat set at 63 in cold mode and auto mode the AC will run initially to cool the camper but then after a while it turns off and doesn’t turn back on until I turn the system off completely and back on the high fan mode. I live in Michigan it is 90 degrees and humid outside but still seems like the AC should continue to run until it reaches the temp set on the thermostat. Let me know if I’m doing something wrong!

It would help to know which A/C and thermostat you have?

If it's the Dometic LCD thermostat, you may be able to initialize it and get it back working.

There's a copy of the manual in the library and the sequence to initialize it is in there.

"A system initialization will need to be performed by the installer after
the system is installed.
Make sure the Single Zone LCD thermostat is in the Off condition.
Press the “+” button and, while holding it, also press and hold the On/Off Mode button for three seconds. LCD will show ― ― .
Press the On/Off Mode button again to turn system off.
This completes the initialization."

I had to do that with my TT. One thing that did show as a problem during walk through. Not sure why I needed to initialize again but it solved the problem as described.
