Zone 1 on the Sanibels is for the furnace, and living area A/C unit. Zone 2 controls the bedroom A/C unit. I personally don't use the programming function & can't help you there because I don't remember how to.
If it's cold and you want just the furnace function;
Zone 1 should be on Furnace, fan off & temperature set (up & down arrows) to your desired temperature.
Zone 2 should be OFF

In this configuration, the furnace should cycle in & off to maintain the desired temperature you set.

Just one change....I mentioned above that the fans should be OFF. Actually, on the fan settings there is only Lo, Med, Hi & Auto. Set them to AUTO or else the A/C fan will run.

The Dometic CCCII Thermostat on my motorhome has two zones. I've never been able to get it to work without programming it. I've never found instructions on how to do this and playing with it never worked.

One of the big gotchas is that if I take the unit out of storage, the thermostat clock is dead. It remembers the programs, but won't run anything until I reset the clock.
