Dometic 8501 will not turn off

Our Dometic 8501 will not turn off. Possibly a problem with the control buttons. How can the control buttons/panel be removed and inspected?
The fridge is currently on propane and power source also cannot be changed; button is unresponsive. If gas is shut off, fridge attempts to restart. How can we stop propane without harming the fridge?
Thanks
Dave

Pull the 12 volt fuse. That should shut it down.

Where is fuse?

Hi. Thanks for reply. Where would the 12 volt fuse be. At fridge or in the converter? When I pull the fuse in the power converter w/distribution panel the converter board starts beeping and red lights come on. I ended up removing the main fuse in the converter.

There should be a 12V fuse in the panel that powers the fridge. Unfortunately, it will also likely power other things too like the water pump and water heater. That depends on the trailer manufacturer and how it was wired.

Have you tried turning off the power to the TT/RV and the 12V power to let it reset? If the power button doesn't work a reset of power may restore operation. Leave it off for at least 20 seconds. I assume you have turned off the refrigerator before and know you have to hold the button for a few seconds(at least 5 seconds)? Are you getting any fault indication from the fault led on the control panel? If the gas is shut off and it is attempting to reignite you can not change any functions until it completes ignition. If you reset the power it may attempt to resume igniting the gas as the last source so let it ignite before attempting to turn it off or change the power source.
