Dometic Brisk II with single zone LCD only has one fan speed
I have a brand new 2015 Coachman APEX 300 BHS with Dometic Brisk II and Dometic single zone LCD control. Upon delivery noticed that there was only 1 fan speed available (presumably high, I hope, if it's low high will be crazy noisey) on any setting, lo, high or auto in either AC or fan.
The dealer service manager claimed that I'm not the first one to complain about this and that all the new units on his lot (300+) with this system have single fan speed.
I contacted Dometic first by telephone and they said they wouldn't offer multiple fan speeds on their controls unless the feature was available. Secondly I emailed Dometic technical support and was told the Brisk II AC had 3 fan speeds to which my controller could control 2.
This issue with the dealer is unresolved although they seem to wish to assist if possible. Since this is a Forest River forum it would behove corporation to respond with correct information concerning this issue. It would be a pretty sad state of affairs if hundreds of units have the AC mis-wired from the factory.
Anyone who could respond indicating that their same series of AC works with multiple fan speeds would be greatly appreciated.
