Dometic DMR702

I have a new Rockwood 8244 imported into the UK. Unfortunately the Fridge Freezer does not get cold enough on either elrctricity or lpg and my UK Dometic engineer tells me the cooling unit is not working. The U.S. Dometic warranty does not extend to the UK and Dometic UK will not sort under warranty, However a couple of wires, black and lilac, as per the attached photo are not connected- should they be? Could this be the problem? Anyone any ideas? Any help to avoid having to fund a new freezer would be appreciated.

I think I see the wiring diagram in the photo what does that say they go to?

Looks like a DC accessory power supply not included. They are tagged and not used. The cooling unit is working, just not enough. Domestic has suggested tapping the rear coils with a heavy wood Dowell to clear blockage. Free and might work.
