Dometic Fridge

I have a 2016 Cherokee 264L with a Dometic Fridge. The fridge tends to run too cold. I'v followed the MFR's instructions and placed the sensor as far as possible to the right side of the fins and that doesn't seem to help. Has anyone else had a similar problem and how did you fix it? Thanks.

The thermistor goes up or down to adjust the temperature.

I have the same issue, I have the thermistor as low as it can go on the fin.

One of the reasons why I am working on a design to replace the thermistor and be able to set the temp exactly to what you want. I will also be able to control it with my phone. Just need some time to get this done. One of my engineering retirement projects.

People here (on the forum) have reported good results with the “snip-the-tip” thermistor replacement:

My thermistor was loose and did nothing until I fixed it. Now it works great.

Read my thread: Dometic RM2652 Thermistor Adjustment fix.
