Dometic fridge not working on gas

We bought a used 2010 Forest River Grey Wolf 28bh last spring. It was in excellent condition and we love it. We took it out west last summer for 6 weeks and didn't really have many problems til about half way through when our fridge decided to not work on gas. If we were hooked up to electric it worked great, but not even on battery or when hooked up to the truck. We dealt with it and only had very very short drives in between our stops so none of our food spoiled. But we are fixing to go on an 8 hour road trip and need for our fridge to work!! It will not ignite on gas. The stove works just fine and doesn't have any trouble and it lit right up. The fridge clicks and clicks and clicks and then the check light comes on every single time. There is plenty of gas and my hubby has looked at it but we are new to this, so we aren't sure if it is something simple and we aren't doing something right or if we need to take it in for service???
