Dometic RM1350MIM fridge works fine on propane but runs warm in fridge on electric. Freezer runs fine on electric. Any ideas on how to get fridge to 32 degrees vs 48 degrees on electric would be greatly appreciated.
I believe the electric element that heats up does not make as much heat as propane. More heat = more cold.
From what I have read, it all has to do with air circulation.
If your fridge is in a slide, it has a hard time venting from the top vent, so I'm installing computer muffin fans to suck air out. That way hot air will be pulled up through the condenser and provide better heat transfer.
Also, inside the fridge, installing again fans to move air around helps, doing that too.

We had the same issue with our last travel trailer. I took 4 ballbearing 12cm or 4.72 inch (quieter than sleeved) 12 Volt computer fans and installed them in the top of the refrigerator vent. Ran the wires down to the 12 Volt supply and installed a waterproof switch on the outside access/vent cover. Make sure you block off the area between the mounted fans, foil tape, (you can use fewer) and the vent housing.
IMO installing a fan inside the fridge won't help unless the fins are icing up.
You may see some improvement with the outside fans. Good luck!
Ours has been working well; it's less that a year old, but the noisy fans inside will have to be replaced with quieter ones. We spent two months in the Keys with the slide holding the fridge on the sunny side and had no real issues. I'll probably do the external fan and baffle soon just to ensure it keeps working well.

Had the same problem with mine. Ended up replacing the heating element. Took it to 34°. Real easy fix. You tube it. I think the element was under $20; and instillation was 20 min. Also installed an inside fan.
Since my fridge is in a slide as well, I built a duct at the top to smooth the airflow to the top vent and prevent the heat from being trapped there.
Trapped hot air will increase the heat load on the fridge making it less efficient.
I also added 120mm 12 volt box fans and tied them into the existing fan wiring so that when the thermistor (the white button with the two red wires) calls for the fan, everything comes on.
I double insulated the pantry wall as it used to get REALLY hot in the pantry.
NOTE: DO NOT remove the "blocker board" at the bottom of the top vent. It is required to allow cooling air to blow across the freezer compartment coil (at the very top). Removing it will not make the cooling better, it will make it worse.
I used fire rated foam board and aluminum tape to make the insulation ductwork.
