What are you using to turn the fans on and off? Is it that thing with the LED readout in your pic?

I'm getting frost on the back of the inside of the freezer. thinking the air is pretty warm behind causing it to condensate and refreeze in the back. Back to your original post. I checked mine first thing this morning. 35 degrees. I know by this afternoon (heat of day) it will be back to 50. For this trip I told my wife. I'm putting some freezer bags of ice through out the fridge. hoping to help it along.
My Dometic 2652 fridge is also on a slide, same problem. Dometic advised Forrest River that a fan kit IS required on the refridge that is located on the slide, and had my dealer install a fan on the rear of refridge just below the upper vent. Well, freezer works and always did, however, frigdge hits 55+ This past weekend, put a small fan in the lower vent area, aimed it at a 45 degree angle so the airflow hits the cooling unit(black cylinder) and the radiator. Temp went from 55 to 34 in 3 hours with an outside temp 84. The cooling unit and radiator was warm, not hot to the touch. As soon as I took the fan away, temp shot up to 54 in less than an hour and the cooling unit and radiator were hot. This refridgertor/freezer set up requires the fans to aid in airflow. My previous trailer, 2652 fridge was not on a slide and worked perfectly.

It's a digital fan controller.

The stock fans are junk I'd look into replacing it with a 120mm ball bearing fan.

Mine is screwed to one of the fins on the far left to be away from the chimney. It's easiest to just follow the wire from the fan to the thermostat.

I agree on the factory fan. Mine had fallen off before delivery and the dealer screwed up by reinstalling it using metal plumber strapping and wire ties to attach it to the coolant lines and fins. First thing I did when I saw what they had done was order a low noise 120mm ball bearing fan to replace the factory unit and then mount it correctly. Not only is the new fan quieter but has a better CFM than the one Dometic supplies to Forest River.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/252386910825

Very quiet, works great and come with on and off switch and temp switch.
Also I put a snip-the-tip.com on mine and that problem resolved. And a vent fan inside I'll have to repost.
