I had one installed in our bedroom on our Wildcat 353ls. I talked with a couple different dealers that I respect their opinions and all recommended this unit. I was told I could go with a reg 15K unit with electrical power to spare, but that the low profile would be a better route since it was being mounted on the highest point of a 5th wheel. And that in the end the difference would not be noticeable between a 15K and a 13.5K unit.
As for noise, the non ducted units are louder than a ducked system, but the noise is not what I would call intrusive.
