My refrigerator wonít run on gas or electric! Ran fine last year! Just filled propane! Furnace works fine! It is set to auto and number 5 on temp set! It reads 60. The burner is lit but I donít know how much flame I should have! I can see a blue flame! I can turn gas valve of and on hear it light! I noticed the gas valve solenoid is hot to the touch all the time! Any ideas would sure be appreciated! Thanks

The flame is really small, don't know how long it has been on? But it can take up to about 6 hrs before you will reach temp empty, longer if you have it packed. Don't worry about the salonode. It's working from what you posted.

Do you see any yellow powdery substance behind the access door?

As Witch Doctor said, leave it on for a while if it hasn't been on very long.

Takes as long as 24 hours for these to get cold. Set it for the coldest setting.

They do take some time. I'll run on electric 6-8 hours before a trip . Once it seemed to take longer than usual, found the sensor probe had dropped from it's holder.

Verify that there is nothing blocking the air circulation at the back of the unit.

Do you know if this unit had cooling fans installed previously? If they did, do you know if they are currently working?

Is the unit level?

As has already been asked, is the unit empty? If overfilled it will not cool.

Don't depend on the temperature display being accurate. Get a refrigerator thermometer and leave it set for 24 hours to verify actual temperature.

Had a repair man stop at the campground in Florida and look at my fridge! He said all controls were working and he could not see any yellow stuff leaking! Said I need a new fridge at $2100 plus $250 to replace mine! I decided to remove the fridge myself! Laid it on itís side on the patio of my site! Tapped on the coils on the back of the fridge with a large screw driver! Reinstalled it in the motorhome and started it up! It is working fine and the temp is now down to 39 degrees!

Glad you got it running again. You saved yourself some serious coin. Terrible service/repair guy.
