dometic refigerator won't turn off

We have 2016 Mirada Coachmen. The refrigerator works on 120 and an inverter. When it is plugged into shore power it will not shut off. It has a switch on the inside for adjustments. It will turn off with the inverter, but as soon in 120 is applied it kicks on. Thanks for your help

I would say it's made to do that.I take it it is a regular house type fridge?? When you plug one of them in,it's on.Turning off the invertor will turn off the fridge it will only work on 120 volt.

You should have a breaker for the Inverter/refrigerator in your breaker panel. Turn that off and you will turn off inverter and fridge circuit..

Turning off the inverter when on shore power will not turn off the fridge. The 120 volts passes thru the inverter when on shore power if the inverter is on or off. Now if the shore power goes away and the inverter is off then the fridge will turn off.

There should be a breaker for the inverter/fridge circuit if you want the fridge off while on shore power.
