Dometic refrig running too cold

It was running fine for a while but now is too cold especially when running on LPG. I moved the thermistor all the way down and it runs at around 30F - even sliced sandwich meat is freezing. I finally took the thermistor out of the sleeve and moved it to the mid bottom of the refrig. That was worse - it dropped to 20! So I mounted it back on the fin in the lowest position that will hold. Freezer runs great at around 0F. Any suggestions? (I'm on the road so can't replace the thermistor or add a thermostat right now.) Thanks.

It sounds like the control board might have failed.

Good luck;

With the thermistor back in its sleeve and at the lowest possible point to stay attached to the fins, it is now running at the low end of refrigeration normal or just below that.

Move your thermistor over to the left 2 fins, the fins to the left should be much colder and should regulate the temp better!

I would try the above and make sure you have a good clean fin and the Thermistor has good contact, other then that replace it when you get home. If the refer is to cold for now open the door and let it get warmer for awhile, should get you home without freezing eveything...

Thanks folks. It worked reasonably well the rest of the trip, staying just below the desired temperature but not in the freezing zone. Nothing spoiled, that's for sure. The freezer is excellent, unexpectedly strong for an RV.
