Dometic RM 2351 fridge issue

I am unable to get the fridge working in the 2006 Work and play 18lt I just bought.

I have leveled the trailer and was plugged into shore power but the LED lights on the front panel do not light up.

I have verified the AC outlet is active and I have 12vDC at the terminal block behind the vent cover. I have attached a pic of the power board showing when I checked voltage and also what looks like a burn mark. any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at the photo - It appears as if the explosion occurred on the right side of the little black box, relay K2 in your photo (just to the left of your red circle)


ALSO - Look on top of K2 - it appears as if there is corrosion there. (that green fuzzy looking stuff)

If you are handy with a soldering iron, it may be possible to remove that board, clean it up, find out what blow up, and repair it. But it appears as if your control board is bad.

I think Dinosaur sells a replacement board - double check this number for your frig (dinosaur board 3850415.01)

ALSO - If your into this, you may also want to look at replacement thermistor kit. This is also a common failure item and an easy fix.
