Dometic rm3962 fridge

I am completely lost. My unit cools on gas but not on electric. I have replaced the electric heating element and the control board in the back of the unit. Yet, my unit still does not cool on electric. Is there anything left to replace? Any ideas on what it could be?

We have read here about cases where the fridge cord was not even plugged into its outlet and other cases where that outlet was dead (not connected at power center or breaker was off or bad). Start by checking for 110v power.

I did that. Outlet works, i plugged other devices into it and they worked. What about the circuit board on the inside of camper where the on/off switch is?

Have you done any kind of electrical tests to determine if AC is present at the control board/heating element?

Have you checked for voltage at the element when it's calling for cooling?

Have you checked the thermistor?

Are you getting any error messages on the display?

You can find the service manual by searching for "Dometic rm3962 service manual". That will give you info on how to diagnose problems.

I used my multi-tester on it yesterday. Everything checked out except the button board on the inside. Neither the on/off switch or auto/lp switch had resistance. Have a new one coming in this afternoon. Hopefully this will fix the issue. I'll let you guys know and thanks for all the help.
