Dometic RV Refrig...

This past Sunday I unplugged our camper from shorepower due to an approaching thunderstorm. Late this afternoon I plugged it back in and a short while later I checked the frig and no power. There is power to the recepticle behind the frig. I checked all fuses I could find, none blown. The slide out and the interior lites work fine. The only thing that could have possibly drained the battery was the propane detector.
If the battery is low, the converter should charge the battery back. If so how long would it take.
Any ideas why there is no power?

If you have interior lights, unless you added AC lamps, the balance in ceiling in bath etc are 12VDC if they are working you have battery power.

In the fridge my drawing shows one 12VDC and one 120VAC fuses in the external control board where the coils outside panel is. There may also be one or two in external wiring in-line style. Check all these before you go any farther.

I'll go back and check the outside ctrl panel. I checked and saw one fuse that was ok but I must have overlooked the other fuse...

A surge protector would have eliminated the need to "unplug"....just a thought

Was thinking the same lol.
But most likely would not help on a direct lightning strike.

I checked both fuses and they look like they are good..the wire element was intact on both...I'll change them both on Friday while I have it apart. Will the control panel go bad...I have the Dometic factory book but it doesn't really help in this situation.

Did you check the reset on the chimney with the 2 red wires going to it?

Do you have at least door lights? If not you aren't you have no power supply to the box. If you have lights could be board., but at this point it becomes expensive troubleshooting to randomly change parts. Suggest a Dometic mechanic to help, any good RV shop.

Start resetting all the GFCI outlets.

I had checked the GFIC first, then the blade fuses in the inverter, next the breakers in the inverter. I made sure there was power to the outlet behind the refrig...I had checked it all I thought...
