Dometic Thermostat

Hi All

Just bought a new 2013 FR Georgetown 335 Class A going full time.

We have a Dometic thermo for control but the AC seems to run allot. It does shut off when it reaches my coolness and the fan keeps running.

Is there a way to get both compressor and fan to auto on/off?
I went thru all my paperwork 2x and cant find anything on the thermostat

My thermos is like this.

TY

I have one that looks like yours. Is the fan setting on auto? Please check that first because the fan should stop running a few minutes after the AC turns off at the desired temp. You don't say were you are, if it is hot, the AC will run a lot. The RVs don't have a lot on installation, 2 inch walls, so in the summer heat, with no shade, it will run for a long time. I spend 3 days at the Excapee campgroung in Livingston, Texas last month and the AC run and ran and I have two ACs, but no shade and it was 95 or more for those days. Good Luck

When we got our TH I went through all the manuals and tried to find a PDF on-line and when I found them downloaded them (found most everything btw). I now have them all stored on my iPad and have access to them all via my iBooks.

You could load them to a thumb drive and use with a laptop too.

Have been doing this with all our home appliances for years now, that way when I need a manual I can find it easily on my network drive.

When we sold our place in Colorado I made a cd for the new owners with all the manuals for that house on them (couldn't find all the hard copies).

Same thing I do. SOOOO much easier to find manuals that way. I know the old guys like their paper versions. I keep the paper at the RV and the pdf version at home computer. Sorry, no Ipad for me yet. I do like this picture however.

I have an old Texas Instrument laptop running Microsoft 95 with MS-Bob installed and yes it still works. When I found out Bill Gates future wife designed BOB, it all made sense. IF you have interior decorating skills, BOB is for you!
