Dometic 2862 2 door refrigerator performs perfectly and quickly on LP. Switch off gas and over to electricity and within 10 minutes we get the 'check' light and there is no further cooling activity. Interior refrigerator light is on. Thank you in advance for any greatly appreciated opinions.
Go outside open the access panel and make sure they plugged it in. Has happened to others or check the circuit breaker. I don't think its on a GFI outlet, but you never know.

It sure sounds like the control board isn't seeing 120v, especially since you mention the 'check light'.
As mentioned, check to see if it's plugged in.
Check the fuses on the board. (back side of refrigerator)

How are you switching off gas? On mine, I have two buttons. Auto and gas. To run off electric, I have to push auto
If I turn gas off at tanks, check light comes on and frig shuts off. Have to leave gas on at the tank.
Safety, stupid, a little of both. But if I lose power, frig will switch automatically.
