I recently bought a new travel trailer and it has a drive entertainment unit in it. I cannot get it to read a dvd or cd. It doe not seem to spin the disc when it is inserted. Any advice?

You could also look and see if the laser locking screw was not removed.

These things are mostly crap. I donít normally talk bad about stuff I paid for, but 2 RVs and two pieces of crap. We bought Blu-ray players and use them. Ours will read some and not others.

The only advice I can offer(other than drag it to the dealer) is to try the remote and the buttons on the unit. You will prolly need your glasses and some smoke and mirrors to figure out what to push. My credit card sized remote is also finicky. I would buy a Pioneer or something, but you can buy 3-4 Blu-ray players for that price. The radio works and so does my Samsung Blu-ray player.

Mine is also junk, also my second. Yesterday it ate a DVD, took me forever to get it out. You will be much better off to buy a Blu Ray player and use that.

My DRIVE media player cuts out intermittently when playing a CD.

I tried using my blue ray player but the enhanced audio output was too much for the DRIVE system input and caused distortion in the left channel. All other features were normal.

I pulled and inspected the unit - all external connections were good.

I gave it a thump with the heel of my hand and all is ok now for our last two trips.
