Duo-Therm Cool Cat heating issues

Have the duo-therm cool cat heat pump & A/C unit, the AC works fine, on my last trip, noticed the heat pump mode wasn't sending hotter air to the cabin. Thermostat was set to proper location, temps were not below 50*F, fan was set to Auto and I tried in both hi and low... Fan sends are but it does not seem heated at all. Different from how it used to work.

Before I take the time to go to a dealer for service and the expense and hassle of that, interested if anyone might have some ideas on cause or previous similar experience?

Many thanks.

You have electric heat strips in there to supplement the heat in your camper. Make certain you don't have any breakers or fuses tripped/blown, there are some in the converter panel for AC power, and DC power (fuses) as well. There should also be a fuse on the control circuit board at the unit on the ceiling, underneath the filter. Mine had a bad circuit board, and I just replaced it myself, and it all works now. Mine was an A/C problem, but it is all controlled thru that circuit board. Good luck finding the culprit. Randy

So this isn't fixed and I can't debug it yet. The cool cat 41001 model doesn't use heat strips, I think that's only the larger ceiling mounted heat pumps. Going to get inside and look for lose wires and connections... I was able to find a service manual for duo-therm heat pumps, it's not for my exact model but it does have some troubleshooting info so going to try that.

Sounds like it could be:
Electrical connections
Reversing valve
Circuit board
Blocked duct (it won't be this since cooling out of the same ductwork is fine)

I have a rockwood 126 and the Cool Cat worked fine last season but this season although it runs, it does not cool or heat. I don't see any fuses that are burnt out in the panel. What could it be?

This thread is 6 years old. You'd probably get a quicker response if you PM'd the OP.
