Duo Therm LCD Heat Cool Thermostat

I was thinking of switching out my analog Duo Therm thermostat with one of the new style LCD ones that come in the campers. Mine looks like this and I want to install one like this. Mine only has heat/ac. My question is has anyone done this conversion? If so, is there DC Voltage being supplied to my old tstat? I am sure this new LCD tstat will need some kind of voltage. I thought I had read somewhere where there was 7.5volts being sent to the tstat.

Thanks Nick

i changed out the duo-therm unit to a digital one that i got from Home Depot. don't use the dc power (red wire). the digital operates on 2 AA batteries.
