Electric front jack

So I pushed the button to raise my front jack and nothing happens. The light won't work and the jack won't lower or raise. I as able to use the hand crank but the nut has now split into 3 pieces. This Is My first electric jack so any help in narrowing downthe problem would be appreciated. It's a 2015 Wildwood X-lite.....used about 10 times total.

Are you sure you have 12V power to the jack? Is there a fuse in the line?

Definitely had 12v. Not sure about fuse in line. Guess I'm a bit electrically challenged but do you mean literally a fuse in the wire running from trailer to jack? Sorry if I sound dumb...LOL

I don't know if yours will have a fuse "in line" or in the breaker panel. I added mine aftermarket and it has a inline fuse on the positive wire from the battery. From what you described it sounds like there's no power at the jack because not even the light will work.

Is the battery fully charged?

Electric front jack

Sounds like the fuse at the Jack, look on the a-frame and you should see a fuse holder with a car fuse. It will likely have a plastic cover on it. I have blown two of these fuses, only while poring down rain.
