Elixer converter - Excessive fan cycling

The fan on my convertor will come on after lights (etc) have been on for a while, as it should. But I've noticed that it (the fan) will run for a couple of seconds, then turn off. Sometimes only a fraction of a second.

I would think that these should be set to come on at a max threshold, and cool to a lower threshold. Mine seems to work as if these threasholds are the same value (if that makes sense).

If the AC is running, not a big deal. Otherwise, it's absolutely annoying. I'm hoping it does not need replacing, as I just overlayed my floor with an additional 1/2" of plywood and new flooring.

Is this behavior signs of a dying convertor?

May be a sign the thermal switch is bad for fan.

Oh and by the way a bad battery or batteries will make the converter work hard thus allowing fan to run more.
I'd check your battery/batteries first.

I have never worked on a convertor (in this unit, or my previous Coleman popup). Are internal components replaceable/servicable?

Some pieces are some are not.
Normally converter replacement is the cheapest simplest solution.

I'm still thinking battery or batteries tho.

This was with a brand new Xtreme (Batteries Plus) grp24 battery installed. It's the deep cycle, not dual-purpose. Voltage and water level looked good at purchase. After towing home and removing, resting voltage was at 12.75V.
PS - We noticed the same thing last year, on the old battery.

It currently has breakers for 30A Main, 20A A/C, and 4 15-Amp breakers for fridge, GFCI outlets, convertor, and microwave. There is another double-bank with the knockout still intact.
7 of 9 DC slots have 15Amp fuses in them for the various DC circuits.

I've been researching about elixer industries for troubleshooting info and what not and i am coming up with nothing worthwhile.
What I did find was a lot of people switching them over to wfco or progressive dynamics brand converters.
Imo if you decide to do this I'd throw in a progressive dynamics 60 amp from best converter.
