Everchill 12v ref

I have an everchill 12v ref model WD282FWDC it cools well but seems to have a 12 degree difference between when it goes off and comes back on I am guessing it has a bad Thermoster but can't find any info on where to get a new one. The parts guy at dealer is stumped too he said he would call back when he finds out any info and I am still waiting... This ref. came in our 2019 camper which is 9 months old...

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. You might try changing where the thermistor is located and ensuring it is tight to the mounting.

It's probably not the thermistor that's the problem, but the thermostat. I can't find a manual or any parts for it but there may be a compensator on the thermostat to narrow the deadband some.
