Exhaust Fan Issue

While cooking the other night I heard a popping sound and the exhaust fan over the stove quit. I checked the circuit breakers and none are tripped. I also got out the installation/cleaning instructions and they were no help. This is on a 2015 Flagstaff SuperLite Emerald Edition 27rlws. I thought it might be some type of overheated switch that would possibly reset. No such luck. Any suggestions?
