Explain pre-wired for second A/C

Spent a little time searching trying to inform myself but didn't really figure it all out.

My trailer is pre-wired for a second a/c in the front bedroom. There is a breaker for second a/c and the block off plate in the roof by the bedroom roof vent.

Question is this, would a second A/C be installed into the ducted system running off the therm o stat with the other unit. Both run together to increase air flow in the ducts.
Or would it be like an older trailer A/C where you operate the controls from the a/c unit on the roof itself?

Thanks!!
First trailer with this option so learning.

It would work like the old units. Air coming out of the a/c unit only with controls on the unit unless you wanted to wire in a thermostat

Normally there's a second thermostat mounted in the same room as the second a/c.
Normally you'll get a ducted a/c and they both work together that way.

Just had a second a/c installed on my 5er. When my was pre-wired it had
it's own breaker and a thermostat in the bedroom. The a/c is direct vent into the bedroom that sits on the 14x14 roof vent. It doesn't connect to the air ducts. The RV will have a 50 amp service to power the two a/c's.

My second AC in the bedroom was pre-wired for the unit only and it is a13,500 BTU stand alone unit, not ducked or connected to the duck work for the 15,00 BTU unit in the living/kitchen area which is ducted.

All these answers are correct depending on unit model. Your sales person might know if it is joint ducted or just a bottom drop. Joint ducting would be preferred in IMO.

Like turbs said, on my sabre, I added a second 15k btu ac unit and it is ducted. There was a wall mounted stat from the factory, along with 120v power near the original vent
