My wife asked me to plug her i-phone into the USB charger ports installed in the bottom of the overhead cabinet the other day. First time I've really looked at it since we bought the motorhome.
I tried to insert the USB plug and the entire block of charger ports moved up and away from the faceplate. I looked at it and found the USB ports were all out of alignment.
Took it apart (2 screws) and found that when it was installed at the factory they must have been in a hurry and forgot to snap on the cover for the back of the port assembly. The cover was right there inside the cabinet laying next to the port assembly. I realigned the USB block, snapped on the cap and reinstalled. Took all of about 1 minute.
Figured I'd pass it along in case they forgot to install yours correctly.
