Fan running desperate for some quick help please

I posted this in the Coachmen section, but it doesn't seem too busy over there so I'll post here and sorry if it's in the wrong section and duplicated.

We have my daughter's 2011 Coachmen Freelander 27qb for 6-7 months testng to see if we want to purchase our own RV. We are new at taking care of a RV and the info we were given didn't help much (here's the books).

Over Christmas we plugged in the RV and let family sleep in it. The heater was turned on and we discovered yesterday that the heater had never been turned off. We unplugged it from the house current approx the 30th.

Never heard any noise from the RV until yesterday when the heater was turned off. Problem now is that a fan is running and blowing air and we don't know how to make it stop.

Here is a link to a picture on Coachmenrv.com. Looking at the picture the fan and air blowing is coming from the left side of the door where an arrow looking thing is pointing. This is not the exact RV but similar.

Have also attached a picture of the section. Not sure what this is, exhaust for something? Today it is so loud I can hear it going from in the house with door shut, it goes off and on.
I'd sure appreciate any help on turning this off and finding out what it is. Thanks...
