Does anyone have a write up or pictures on where to install the filter on the converter? I have a 2008 Signature Ultra Lite that I would like to try this fix on. Thanks!

The RadioShack noise suppressor should give you "some" instructions, but I believe it might be close to the unit (as in probably directly behind it).

Question Concertone Zx500

No tech knowledge and one day the ZX500 works then the next only the CD player works, no radio very frustrating and trying to fine repair person is almost impossible when it is in your rig and they have no place to park to work on it. Live in Canada and Concertone will not mail new set to us in Canada. Looked for shorts, loose wires, antenna etc.see no problems.

Concertone Zx500

Finally found someone on Vancouver Island to look at our Concertone ZX500 and he will try to get parts. Can not order from Concertone as we live in Canada and they will not mail to us. I'll let you know how we make out with repairs.

You should pull out the unit and check the wiring yourself - its easy and the wiring diagram in on a label on the back of the unit so its right there. A loose or bad connection could be the issue...

Firedude,

I concure with Bob about checking the wiring, especially if the radio issue happens at the same time as the DVD player issue. With mine it was just the CD/DVD player. Radio worked 100% of the time. When the dealer worked on it he said it was wiring loose. It started again shortly after the dealer trip so I pulled it out and used crimp connections. It didn't help. Swapping the unit out for a Jensen did though. I will never own a Concertone unit again.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
The things that come to those that wait will be the scraggly crappy junk left by those that got there first.
