I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
The things that come to those that wait will be the scraggly crappy junk left by those that got there first.

Hey guys just go a 2011 wolfpack 27 with a zx500! What a disapointment! One of the outside speakers was not working and I had to try to fix my brand new camper. Does anyone have any ideas for upgrading the system and speakers????? Thanks in advance.

I googled something like "witty one liners" and just picked a few I liked. Never knew the source.

I would think your problem isn't with the Concertone ZX500, but with the manufacturer. I would suspect loose or disconnected or even incorrectly connected wires. Pull the unit out (release the side covers to reveal the mounting screws) and verify the wiring. Your Toyhauler was probably built in less than a day, so you should expect to find several items that need addressing. I had a few things that needed correcting on my ROO but did myself because I didn't want to make an appointment to drive 50 miles one way to have the dealer make a quick adjustment. Stereo wires was one of those issues.

Whats the disappointment?

That you needed to fix a speaker? What was wrong with it? Was it the product or the installation?

What does the ZX50 do or not do that you would like?

What other audio video equipment is in your Wolfpack and have you thought about how you would like the system to operate?

Upgrades can be fun, but its best to begin with the end in mind, even if you don't install everything you want right away you can continue t o "build" upon what you have until you have everything you want!

Goody5454, check all the speaker wiring myself & another member on here that have purchased new TTs in the past year have had to rewire the speakers to get proper stereo sound.

The unit has the speaker wiring diagram on it, so you should be able to verify the wiring.

Each pair of speakers should be wired to the output of a single "room". LH speaker, LH output & so on. In my case the LH speaker was wired to the RH output of room A, while the RH speaker was wired to the RH output of room B. The wiring was the proper colour for each of the circuits I described, but that wiring doesn't make for great sound.

And we wonder why FR doesn't send out a customer satisfaction survey 6 months after our purchase.

Hi, I bought a Rockwood Mini Lite back in April. It is equipped with a ZX75 sound system. The radio never worked, the dvd/cd player worked 3 times. I finally went camping last weekend and nothing ever worked. I see i'm not alone, i did a search and found many people having problems with the units. Why do they put such a peice of crap in a nice rv? Does anyone from Forrest River look at these comments so they can help to replace these things? Thanks
