Thumbs down Ford In Dash Nav/Entertainment Failure

Just purchased a new2014 FR Sunseeked 3050 Class C. Last week I was getting familiar w/the Nav/Stereo/DVD. Everything was working great. Went out this morning to enter an address for a campground I was heading to on Sunday. Now things get strange. When I hit the power button the nav system powered up and loaded the system to the point that the screen with the "Go To" button was on - i tapped the button with no change in the screen - i tried the other buttons to no avail. None of the "touch screen" worked. OK - get the operators book out and read up on using the "Restart" button. So I pressed the restart button. Screen went blank and after about 5 seconds started getting white noise from the speakers. Was never able to get a screen to reappear only noise! Any thoughts other than take it in to the dealer?

If you haven't got it to work you will probably have to take it in to a dealer. Ford didn't put the MyFord Touch in that model, so that nav unit is stand alone unit. The dealer most likely would just exchange the unit since Ford farms out their radio repairs to United Radio or AER Technologies.
