My 2013 Surveyor with the grill option came with an Aussie brand grill with a folding stand (like restaurants use to hold trays). The grill did not have burners, however, and I hope to convert or add some. Any ideas?

It appears as thought the lines were not installed as a regular part of production as the passages for the gas lines appeared to be made with a hammer on screwdriver rather than a hole saw.

Not sure if he has any now but keep checking.
Just looked he doesn't right now.

If you search rv stove top on ebay there are a few on there tho.

I found a stove there are two models there is a two burner and a three burner the price run about 250.00 for a two and 300.00 for the three. That's at the dealer and the same price from the factory

have you all noticed
in just the last two years
many items have at almost doubled in cost
the rack that attaches to the RV is almost worth 30 dollars

You can buy a Weber 1520 for $59, which is a much better grill. In fact, if anyone offers me $20 for my "weenie warmer" grill at the rally, it's theirs, with the cover. Offer me a beer, and I'll carry it to your site.

that is a good deal offered
how many beers to carry it to Ca ?

our problem is space
we have a small 20' trailer
so
the smaller the better for us
plus
only usually cooking for two

we have turned out some excellent
steaks and chicken on the thing

Who makes those that you have found? I posted pictures of a two burner model in this thread that my local Rockwood dealer said I can score for $200. The three burner for $250 but he said there is no way my Roo would be able to handle it on the outside rail. He recommended the 2 burner only. Made me wonder...what unit is the 3 burner manufactured for?? Inside only??

That's the one that is hanging from the side and it is 230. plus taxes and shipping.My dealer said either one will work because it is made for low pressure

I really like the Sidekick. I just saw that you can stand it up on a table away from the camper if you have an external propane tank. That will save the batteries for my smoke alarm inside the camper. That is the only complaint I have about the location of the sidekick. Smoke goes right inside as soon as the door is opened.

I have not cleaned mine yet. Does anyone have any good recommendations for cleaning it without ruining it or rusting it out? I do not have a utility sink at the moment, and need to do it outside.

I had the option of either the grill or a 2 burner stove when I bought my TT. I chose the 2 burner stove as I am leary of a good grease fire that close to the camper. I asked the dealer about hooking up a colman portable grill to the gas line and was told that the gas pressure was not sufficient for a good hot flame.

There is a mod you can do to the regulator on the Coleman that allows it to be connected to the already regulated propane on the camper. Someone had posted a YouTube video on here showing how to do it. I have yet to tackle it, but it seemed really simple with two or three parts needed.

I have cleaned mine several times already. When I do not have access to (or don't wish to use) a utility sink, I use a large plastic tub, such as a storage container, and fill it with soapy water. Then I dunk the grill and scrub it with a long plastic brush. I rinse it off with a hose and then set it in direct sunlight to dry as quickly as possible.

So far, I've had no issues with rust/corrosion - I make sure to move the gril around a bit while drying to ensure that any water that may be pooling somewhere gets to drain out fairly quickly.

Good move I wish I had the chance to take a stove instead of the grill.I'll trade anybody for a stove i give you my grill.
