Forester 2401R 42" TV Mount

Greetings,
I recently purchased a used 2016 MBS Forester with the optional 42" Entertainment Center instead of the over the cab bed. I've searched the forum looking for information on how to gain access to the storage area behind the TV without success. I find no latches, etc. that would allow the TV to swing out from the right side.

Are there any owners of the same unit that can share how the TV mount functions?

We have the same setup in our rig, the Forest River 2500 TS. I have been wondering the same thing. Doesn't make sense that you do not have access to all of that space. Cannot figure out how the TV is attached, and it is heavy. Do not have easy access to the back of it. Nothing in the manuals, very frustrating. Sorry I cannot answer your question. Hopefully someone else can.

We are in the same boat with our 2017 Forester 2861DS on a Chevy chassis. The Forest River Class C Motorhomes Facebook page posted a picture of this entertainment center and I posted a question asking about storage behind the TV and the response was that there is no storage there.

that includes a picture of what one of the mounts used for these entertainment centers looks like and mentions that there is no way to get behind the TV to service/replace cables because of the way they had trimmed in the TV unless the entire cabinet system was removed. Maybe we have to install our own door inside one of the side cabinets to get to it......
